Island of Hawaiʻi · Abbundance Oasis

Building a homestead. Hosting a camp.

Abbundance Oasis is a primary project on the Island of Hawaiʻi: raise a house and a living homestead in wet jungle, then share shade, kitchen, water, and fire with people who show up ready to help. Off-grid energy. Care for the ʻāina. Still taking shape.

The primary project

Homestead first. House next. Camp as we grow.

The work is slow and real: clear, plant, build, fix, repeat. Rain and mud are normal. ʻŌhiʻa and uluhe set the pace. The house is part of that same story — not a resort overlay.

What we are building

A place to live and tend: water, power, kitchen commons, sleep pads under tarp, and a house that belongs to the land instead of fighting it.

Camp & glamping

Short stays for a couple plus about eight guests — roughly ten people when the camp is open. Guests bring a tent and a self-reliance kit. Camp holds the roof and the commons. This is not a hotel.

Abbundance

Spelled with two bs on purpose. Growing food, tending water, building together, and hosting weeks that feel like a theme camp — Refugee Camp energy, not a brochure.

Story & channel

YouTube and this site carry the same thread.

Share the build

The channel and the site support the homestead story — paced project videos, camp life, and what we learn as we go. Traffic here should feel useful, not loud.

Huylo Burn

Guest briefing for a September week: pack lists, camp life, map intent, and the land as it is. Private arrival notes stay off the public page.

Other work

Games and experiments live under Projects. Some paths stay invite-only on purpose.

Photos above are camp placeholders until a dedicated homestead album lands. No street address, GPS, or neighbor details on this site. Arrival notes stay private.
